We at Nopesport like urban orienteering, and so do you it seems as the number of urban orienteering events and participants in the UK grows each year. However, apart from The UK Cities Cup – The UK’s premier urban orienteering series, there is no UK wide league. SO, we thought we would duly oblige and put many of the top quality individual events together and form a league…and here it is, brand new for 2008, we are pleased to announce the formulation of The Nopesport Urban League. This will run very simply; if you enter any of the classes or courses in any of the events in the series you will automatically be included in the league. The following races will make up the 2008 series:
*These races are no longer part of the UK Cities Cup Your age class will determine which league you will be included in. There will be leagues for Men’s and Women’s Junior (18-), Senior, Vet (40+) & Supervet (55+); at each race, the organisers will designate which classes should run which courses. Your best 5 out of a possible 12 races will count. The best score wins, simple! We’ll get some trophies and hand them out at the end of the year and everyone will clap and cheer as we do, Done.
